The weather here in Spokane has been really nice all weekend. I think Spring is finally here.

Tonight the Oscars are on.

I hope Cate Blanchett wins best actress for her role in Elizabeth. Gwyneth was good in Shakespeare in Love, but Cate was better.

All I know is that Joseph Fiennes was a very lucky man to star opposite both of them!

Gonzaga couldn’t quite pull it out today. They gave UConn a great game though. They made a great run though during the past few weeks. Great job guys!

I’m already looking forward to next year.

I went to Analyze This this evening. It’s the first movie I’ve seen in a few weeks and it was definitely amusing at times, although not exceptional. De Niro is always good in my book and he’s perfect for this role.

Will reality finally settle in for Gonzaga tomorrow? It’s been a great week and a half regardless!

40 minutes from the Final Four!

Fun ways to mess up with your sleep cycles. Or something like that. I fell asleep and woke up around 3:30am today.

My apartment is definitely in a transitional messy rearrangement phase right now.

Tonight I went to this year’s Ham On Regal with my mom and it is now very clear to me where Nichole gets all her %{color: pink}Pinkettes% related traits.

Apartment cleaning phase one. Did a little bit of general cleaning (my bathtub is the ultimate soap scum/blue lint accumulator ever) and rearranging. My kitchen is now back to one computer.

Then I fell asleep.

Happy Birthday Mom!

The trip back to Spokane was pretty uneventful.

I felt a little sadder about the loss today then I did last night. Ferris is losing an outstanding group of seniors.

We have a great nucleus of young players coming back though. I’m looking forward to seeing what they can accomplish next year.

I believe with a lot of hard work a return to State is a very attainable goal.

State Tournament Championship Game.

We played our worst half of basketball of the season and were never able to get closer than 10 in the second half. Walla Walla ended up winning by 16.

Despite the disappointing end to the season the guys have nothing to be ashamed of. They had a great season (26 - 3) and their number two finish is the best for Ferris in five years.
