Jonny Glow Strips

Now that I’ve managed to successfully drag myself out of bed and prop open my eyes its time to start the day with a nice blogtastic post. _Whatever!_

For some reason Jonny Glow strips remind me of the runway lights at an airport. Holy Cow! There’s even a Jonny Glow theme song.

Link From Blogger

I’m a bit tired at the moment.

I had a lot more visitors than usual today thanks to the mention on the main Blogger page. That’s great and everything, but it’s too bad my current Axodys implementation doesn’t really match my vision of what it could be. Time to get my act together in the next couple days.

No Pyra Props For Me

Shoot! I should have emailed evhead instead of pb obviously. No Pyra recognition for Jason today. Heh!

Blogger Interval Contest

Well, I think I’ve safely put an end to the Blogger Interval contest with this one…

Camera Shopping

I’ve been thinking a lot about getting a new digital camera for a while now and there’s definitely a lot of great information out there on the web. The Digital Camera Resource Page has a lot of great reviews, comparisons, and sample images. Another outstanding informational site is the Digital Photography Review. As Derek pointed out recently they have a review of the soon to be released Nikon Coolpix 990. I don’t think I’m ready to spend that much money though.

Python Dev Center

On the scripting front,O’Reilly has a Python DevCenter now. I’ll have to take a closer look when I have time.

It’s time for some G4 action here at work.

Hanging With Steve

My friend Steve is back in town for his brother’s birthday so I spent the evening hanging with him. Unfortunately I’m going to be sore tomorrow as a direct result. We decided to take advantage of the great spring weather and go throw a frisbee around at our old elementary school. Needless to say both our throwing arms were a bit rusty.

Watching Texas get robbed by the umpire in a bizarre double play call in the eleventh inning really put a damper on the 10.5 great innings leading up to that point. I hate the ¥ank€€$. I suppose as a Mariners fan I should be happy New York won though.

Speaking of New York, I heard from Steve that our friend Jesse has been pursuing a position as part of a program that could take him off to the Big Apple. Oddly I had a dream the other night that Jesse was moving back to Spokane from Seattle.

CDs To MP3

I’ve finally started the process of converting most of my cd’s into mp3s this weekend. I have an iMac that was just sitting around with oh, 8GBs of space or so. I figured it was high time to put that to use.

Hey, I just had a nifty idea for a little script involving Blogger. I wonder if I can absorb enough Javascript in the next three hours to whip it up?

iCab

iCab has now reached 2.0. Of course CSS and Javascript still aren’t fully implemented. Once they are this will be a great Mac alternative browser. The automatic html validation feature is cool, but somewhat depressing because fully compliant web pages are rare beasts.

Switching Apartments

It looks like I’m going to be moving into a newer/bigger/nicer apartment next month. It’s going to cost a little bit more than my current residence, but everything should fit in a lot more comfortably. Plus moving won’t be too big a pain as it’s in the building next to mine.
