Mary and I lugged my quite hefty new futon mattress up to my apartment during our lunch hour. It’s a huge improvement over the previous one, as it’s approximately twice as thick, but it required some wrestling to get through my box-filled apartment. The funny thing is that I haven’t come close to getting anything unpacked yet and I’m already looking at buying more furniture for my apartment. Most likely I’ll be purchasing some kind of entertainment center along with a table/desk/workspace for my computers, although in the interest of not spending all of my monthly income at once I’m focusing on the latter at this point.
