I had a fun, but quick trip over to Seattle this weekend. Today before driving back my dad and I caught a Mariners game at Safeco Field, and of course they lost just as they did the last time I saw a game in person. Hard to believe that was just under a year ago. The seats weren’t as good this time around, but it was a close game and it was hot and sunny. Unfortunately as a result I also managed to acquire the worst sunburn I’ve had in several years. I had used sunscreen prior to the game, but only applied it to my ears, nose, and neck and failed to protect my far more vulnerable forearms and knees. I won’t make that mistake again.
