I’ve been checking on my MacOS X order status quite often and the page shows that it finally shipped today. While I’m definitely excited about that my enthusiasm is a little bit tempered by the tracking number they posted. Despite the fact that the page lists FedEx as my shipper (and I did pay extra for speedy delivery), I’ve ordered enough stuff over the years to know that a package with a tracking number beginning with 1Z followed by a long string of numbers is coming UPS. I really don’t care how it comes as long as it comes in a timely fashion, but a mix up like this doesn’t exactly put me at ease.
