The new Powerbook G4 is a thing of beauty, but it’s probably not that big an upgrade speedwise for current G3 Powerbook users like myself since it’s still at the 400Mhz and 500Mhz marks albeit as a G4. Perhaps I’ll revisit the issue come next fall…
I like the modifications to the OS X interface they’ve made after listening to the Beta feedback as well. The new $129 price seems reasonable, especially when compared to Windows 2000 pricing, but it would be nice if Beta users got some kind of discount. I’ll definitely be purchasing it either way.
