Last night EWU held on to a one point lead to shock 10th ranked St. Joseph’s 68-67. What a great win for Coach Giaccoleti and his team. I know my dad would be really proud to see his alma mater do so well and it looks to me like Gonzaga could potentially have their hands full when the two teams meet up December 4.
Between the play of EWU and Gonzaga, and what should be a tight GSL race (three teams could easily contend for the title) it’s great to see basketball flourishing in the Spokane area.
