I found out today that directions are up for installing Fink under Jaguar so I decided to give it a go. The basic install went smoothly, but I ran into a couple issues getting XDarwin running. Ultimately the solution to that problem was installing the 4.2.0.1 XDarwin application package over the top of my xfree86-base and xfree86-rootless fink installation. I also succeeded in getting Gimp up and running, but now I need to get a decent window manager running.
