The basketball season has finally come to an end for me as Ferris came up 4 points short of advancing to the state tournament in Tacoma. It was a good year all things considered, but it’s disappointing to miss a trip to State by just a few points. It wouldn’t really surprise me if it takes us another year to get back as we’re not going to have much size or experienced leadership for a while. Next year is going to be interesting in the GSL in general as this year’s top teams were largely senior dominated. Winning and losing aside it’s going to be fun watching our young guys develop and with the league down overall I like our chances as much as anybody.
