Franklin too fast, too good wins 67 — 55.
It was a fun game to watch and Morrison and Brooks didn’t disappoint at all, scoring 37 and 38 respectively. The real difference in the game was how Mead’s supporting cast looked downright ordinary all night long, while Franklin’s was aggressive, athletic and quick.
In other basketball news Gonzaga made the dance for the fifth straight year despite losing the WCC conference final to San Diego. The Zags play Cincinatti in Salt Lake City as the 9th seed vs. the 8th seed. If Gonzaga wins they will most likely play 1 seed Arizona.
