Here’s an interesting article on one Linux user’s adoption of Apple’s new iBook as his his mobile Linux computer of choice.
Speaking of computer upgrades, I’m probably at least six months away from even considering the possibility (barring significant announcements at this months MacWorld) when Mac portable processor speeds get closer to 1Ghz. I would like to get my PowerBook up 512MB in the near future though, and an external FireWire drive big enough to do some serious digital video editing is on my wishlist as well.
