I installed a new hard drive into a dual usb iBook for the first time today and it’s definitely not a task for the faint of heart. It was the second time I’ve disassembled and reassembled that particular machine and thankfully this time around I didn’t end up with two extra screws. I had a couple left over after my first attempt a couple days ago, but I was able to get everything seated back where it belongs today.
These step by step instructions I found on the web helped a ton!
