Tonight looks like the rainiest Apple Cup I’ve seen in a long time and it’s in Pullman! Hope WSU’s passing offense can adjust and remain effective.

My expectations for today’s Apple Cup are fairly tempered. On paper it should be competitive and even slightly favorable to the Cougars, but the series history under Leach has not been auspicious. I do think this is a special WSU team though.

I seem to be more stiff and sore today than I was yesterday, the day after I played a whole bunch of dodgeball at work. It’s not that big of a deal, but it’s forcing me to psyche myself up to endure a little more discomfort on the short run I planned to do this afternoon.

Zags win 91-74 after completely dominating the final 15 minutes of the game and outscoring Arizona by 30 points. That was wild.

As ugly as this game has been I like that the Zags were able to completely turn things around in just a few minutes with stops and 3s.

Slow start to the half, but Brandon Clarke, Snacks, and Kispert finally string together some plays that start to swing the momentum a little. 47-53 at the 15 minute mark.
