Looks like I only have about a month to work my way through Portlandia as it’s leaving Netflix September 24. Odds are that it will end up on Hulu though based on other IFC content so hopefully that will be the case.

Wasn’t expecting all the rain we got overnight, but it was clear that the weather was changing as I rode my ebike back into Spokane through a mild headwind last night.

Really looking forward to my Food Truck day burrito… not just for the novelty of it, but because I normally eat at 11am and I’m starving!

Also, the Libby app, which I’d forgotten that I already had on my phone, is pretty good and instantly downloaded the audiobook once I fired it up.

My local library didn’t have an eBook copy of Carrie Brownstein’s memoir, Hunger Makes Me a Modern Girl, but they did have the self-narrated unabridged audiobook on Overdrive so that ended up being a complete win and I’m already on chapter four.

Classes don’t start for another week, but campus is really coming back to life today as more students and faculty return.

Portlandia is pretty funny. Given that most of the shows I watch are 45 to 50 minutes I like that I can squeeze in a quick episode while I’m eating a meal.

Think I’m going to collect all of Tottenham’s extended match highlights this year. The 2-2 draw at Manchester City.

Crazy finish to the game. City seemed to have secured a stunning winner off a late corner except that VAR revealed that Laporte had made contact with his arm prior to the shot. Spurs leave the Etihad with a huge point.

Lucas with an amazing header goal on his first touch after coming in for Winks! 2-2 with 30 minutes to go in the half. Guess my run is going to have to wait.
