NESmaker is pretty neat. Stumbled across this NES game creation tool yesterday during my ongoing NES scene deep dive. Can’t wait to watch the documentary that led to its creation.

Just learned that 52 year-old actor Luke Perry of Beverly Hills 90210 fame passed away from a stroke today. Besides the nostalgic impact from my late high school and college years, so weird to realize Luke was basically the same age as my dad was when he died 18 years ago.

Productive weekend with Pixitracker. The kids seem to think my new podcast intro song is better than the original I came up with in Garage Band 4 years ago. I’m not completely satisfied, but it’s more complex and good enough to use until I come up with an improved iteration.

Ralph Breaks the Internet definitely falls in the category of superior sequels (and I really liked Wreck-It Ralph)! Looking at the comments on IMDB there are clearly some insecure white male troll campaigns going on for this one because there are way too many low reviews.

Having fun with Pixitracker this weekend. It’s a great way to fiddle around and experiment with song ideas and it’s easy to export to SunVox (or other trackers) once you have something you want to refine.

There’s no way Richland should have lost to this Mt. Si team. That regional loss cost them a top 3 finish at State.

Prep is now up by 20. I think they’re going to win by 30 at this rate.

That Anton Watson dunk was like a Mortal Kombat finishing move on this game. There’s still 5:20 left in the third, but Mt. Si is rattled and done.

9-2 run to close out the half gives G-Prep an eight point cushion. Too many layups- Mt. Si is going to need to shut those down if they want to stay competitive in the second half.

Prep - Mt. Si is an entertaining back and forth game so far. Prep getting more good looks right at the basket, but Mt. Si hitting shots all over. I think that favors Prep ultimately.
