The Eastern Washington high school basketball playoffs’ long weather induced cancellation nightmare is finally over! All GSL/MCC 3A/4A games are set for tonight!

Today we listened to most of the 6 episode (unintentionally) limited run podcast I did with my older kids four years ago. Lots of funny (to us at least) moments and the quality was actually pretty decent. Sounds like they all want us to start up again so formulating a plan.

Snow Day! Work is closed because of last night’s snowfall, but our street is in good shape thanks to our awesome neighbors- one has a supersized snowblower and another has a little ATV with a snowplow!

Forgot that my Rube Goldberg Instagram IFTTT auto import system chokes on captions with Emoji in them, but it still works fine if I download, rename, and toss it into the right folder.

Disappointing lack of plowed roads on my drive into work this morning. My route is entirely highway and major arterials so it should have been cleared before the morning commute began. That said, I’m sure the minimal plowing required in the previous two months hurt readiness.

What is going on?! WSU just completed a sweep in Arizona with today’s 69-55 win over the Wildcats! Looks like onetime GU recruiting target Brandon Williams is still out with a knee injury so that probably didn’t help.

Finally saw The Incredibles 2. It was good, funny, and I really enjoyed it, but coming out 14 years after the original and about 30 other major super hero movies kind of hurt the series in my eyes. Then I looked at the Box Office numbers and discovered reality does not agree!

Noticed our gutter chain had turned into a serious icicle so I took a picture and then it was 🔨 time!

Crazy windy (for winter in Spokane) this morning with gusts in the 20+ mph range and intensity building up to 40+ over the next few hours. Between the low temperature, mega windchill, and possible drifting snow in some areas a state of emergency seems completely justified.
